Point Lobos Retreat
The exclusive Retreat at Point Lobos is the perfect place to stay when visiting Carmel, Monterey, Pebble Beach, Pacific Grove or the Big Sur area. Located on private property within California's Point Lobos Ranch Preserve, it is surrounded by open space and native oak and pine forest. Just across the Pacific Coast Highway from the world-famous Point Lobos State Reserve, the private setting is the perfect spot for a quiet get-a-way for a couple or family of up to four. This 1200 square foot, loft-style open plan home opens into a large, sunny multipurpose living room with amenities including an entertainment area, a desk for home office work, and a pair of trundle beds bed and sofa-bed. A wide doorway leads to the full kitchen and dining area, and a cozy sitting and reading space near the working wood stove. A partition divides the master bedroom area, which opens onto a private patio. Separate rooms include a dressing room, bathroom with twin sinks and glass-door tub, and WC area with full washer and dryer. Hardwood floors are throughout the living area. The south facing exposure fills the house with light from many windows and skylights.
